Music : Philippe Poirier

For twenty years, Philippe Poirier (here on the left, with the actor Serge Riaboukine) was the brilliant saxophonist and second guitarist for the band Kat Onoma. This eclectic artist (musician, film director, designer) records now his own albums, and has worked on films by Eric Guirado or Rob Rombout. Copy of Coralie is his first original score for a musical film.

Before the shooting of Copy of Coralie, Philippe Poirier has composed a music freely based on the noises of the main set of the short film, the copy shop.
The vocal parts, recorded during the shooting, explore the transition between spoken voice and singing by playing with the musicality of the dialogues written by Nicolas Engel.
