Stencils : Jef Aérosol

Jef Aérosol ( working here on the portrait of the actress Juliette Laurent, alias Coralie), has been a stencil artist for 25 years and has shown is work in lots of exhibitions and happenings in France and USA. He belongs to the French pioneer street stencil art generation. His last book, VIP - Very Important Pochoirs (2007) is focused on his famous portraits.

Jef Aérosol has created for Copy of Coralie a series of real size and monumental stencils. Based on the photography of Conform's vanished love, a photo made by Fabrice Poincelet, these stencils have been made in collaboration with two students fo the art school Ecole Européenne Supérieure de l'Image in Angoulême. Jef came on the set in order to display himself his stencils on the city walls and to distroy them according to the script - a premiere for him...
